Blog 365 ~ Sunday Sermon ~ Gal Pal Lunch ~ more Tax Prep

Slept a bit later and I know it's because I've yet to go to bed earlier at night....I REALLY need to work on that. Not that I scrambled around doing stuff ie making the bed, straightening living room [darn cats], but I would like to enjoy a bit 'quieter' coffee time before the Hub's finishes his treadmill routine...

Dressed for Church and going to Gal Pal lunch today since Mac won't be here on the 27th for our regular scheduled ladies luncheon.

Scripture
Rev. Colby Smith
Ephesians 2:4-10 (NRSVUE)
But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when
we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace
you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the
heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come he might show the
immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
For by grace, you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is
the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are what he
has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand
so that we may walk in them.

LEADER: The word of God
for the people of God.
PEOPLE:  Thanks be to God.

Sermon

Lunch was right after service at a downtown restaurant Copper & Oak...one of today's features was bottomless Mimosa' or bottomless Bloody Mary's--no to the bottomless options but did have the ''loaded'' Bloody Mary...mild spice, shrimp, bacon, olive, & lime Oh So Good!

We talked about our upcoming Arizona trip that's in just a few short weeks...I'm so excited! Hiking, Botanical Gardens, Heard a Museum, Steam Boat touring, Hot Shot Trail, Sour Cross, Western Museum, and side trip to Sedona...I'm gonna need a vacation from taking a vacation 😉.

My lunch order was Chicken & Waffle with potato pancake [silver dollar size], and a few fruit slices on the side.
I did bring home half of my chicken for dinner later, the Hub's has his leftover chicken tenders so fixing a salad and we are set for tonight...

Gal Pal Gang! Margaret [in black], Judy aka Mac [in white], Linda [in pink] and myself. We are forces to be reckoned with for sure! Margaret a native Kentuckian and Danville, Mac is from Arizona, Linda is from Michigan, I'm from Indiana.
