As if February wasn't long enough -- We get to add another day this year!

Started the day with the Mr...Buyer trip for the gift shop, it opens tomorrow which means he goes BACK to work! Not gonna lie, kinda glad....

Quick walk around town to show off my Headsweats Visor [lovin the color of my hair more & more] and earning my "Leap Year' Garmin Badge.

I've signed up for several Garmin challenges in March...I've got to get this training rolling, I race in 8 weeks!! UGH.

S*l*o*w*ly but surely my mouth is healing, apparently all my 'bruising' was inside my mouth which has made things difficult to wear plates...

This afternoon a few of us are going to Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site for history discussion/presentation of the Perryville Battlefield from 1897 to the present.

Mahjongg will be tomorrow since Gal Pal Natalie with be home from her trip.

Tabby Trifecta is every single night while I sit reading in bed. Once I turn the light out they move to the head of the bed laying between Mr and I... it's a process!

My GalPal's hubby...it breaks my heart to see him wither away, and for her to go through this.

My SIL now has Basal cell Carcinomas on her leg and face, surgeries to remove scheduled in March,

My runner girl Mindy has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be starting radiation treatments in a couple weeks.

A brand NEW race event!

Benefitting L.I.F.E House for Animals we we're able to donated TODAY 1500$....waiting on final tally from the race as there were so many folks who came and joined this afternoon.

I have 900+phots for those that ran the race, but for today I want to share only PawRunner/PawSpectators....Enjoy!

Race Season is BACK!! + Black History Month 5K re-cap + Blog 365

 

Not a 'too' early wake-up but back to normal Saturday race morning routine. Today is Black History Month 5K right here in my hometown. I've been working with Jason Weathers and his family organizing this race event. 2023 was the first year and as an inaugural race 1000$ was raised [after expenses] for our local Salvation Army. This years proceeds will go to the Agape House. The Agape House was founded in 2007 by Joseph Payne and Stephanie Caldwell.  It is a non-profit organization that assist pregnant women and their families by offering prenatal and child development classes. 

2000$ raised!
