Happy Homemaker Monday 8-11-25

 

Shew what a CrAzY LiFe I'm doing...

Worked Last Friday evening at Blazing Blue Devil race luckily it was mainly track kids and they were FAST!! Which meant I was done early and got home at a decent hour. Up at 3freaking30am to head for ''My'' 1st race of the weekend, Legends of Bourbon County Triple Crown Series,

 I was a bit shocked & surprised but really pleased with myself!

Then Saturday night was A Midsummer Night's race in downtown Lexington... 

2 minutes Faster than last year! The only drawback to this race is it's a evening race and I needed to be up early Sunday morning..that's where another 3Freaking30am comes in...peer pressure got me, and I signed up to do a 'bundle' of races because they were so inexpensive. So, Summer Sizzler 10K here I come...It...was...HARD! I was Hot!! I was Tired! I Still Did It! 

 1st place!! 

 Full **Disclaimer** my 1st place wins were because I was the only 70yo that showed up! So I beat all the others in my 70-75 age grps that stayed home...so There 😜 !!

Time has been flying by...I'm staying afloat with most things except blogging! Though I feel that I truly am productive and not wasting way the day, and I'm not spending too much time perusing social medias, it just seems there's not enough hours in the day to ''sit down'' and blog. I really need to get a plan worked out for it, there's multiple areas of ME that I would like to share & document...And I don't want to do a Loooong post. To me they seem monotonous, and I get bored.. then skip it. O.h well that just me. Let try and get todays link up with Sandra for Happy Homemaker Monday

 Because of already being under a heat advisory I managed to get out for a meandering mile+

Surprisingly I'm not near as sore as I thought I would be after doing the Run Wild Trail race yesterday..

Thank goodness for 'Floor Shine'--unfortunately the floors really absorb the wax. I'm OK with that being that they've been covered for 30+ years and are starving for some Love!
