A few months ago, GOTRKY contacted me about doing race photography for their 15-year anniversary Fall meet.
You have no idea what an Honor it was to help out...
500+ little girls along with their families came this Very Chilly and Windy morning.
One thing I like for GOTR is the event isn't timed...Every person who participates is a 🏆Winner.
And getting to see my runner Jaime as the Finish Fairy and of course my friend Lexington Mayor Linda Gordon. We have work together at several race events every year.
It was easy-peasy getting my streak mile in after working the race...

I had another race event to work in nearby Versailles, so I made a pit stop for lunch at DQ.
Their Christmas tree was so nice! It's something I really miss having at home. But with 5 PurrKids...😬can you imagine ?? [sigh] maybe one day.
Off to Santa Shuffle where I did another short walk through town and my favorite mural ever is🠋
What a Tribute to Versailles history past & present.
And store window displays were top notch!
This year's Santa Shuffle started Thankfully an hour earlier than past events. They were doing the town Christmas parade and needed all race event stuff cleaned up & Out!
I scurried home to work on all the photos from todays 2 races, eat dinner and clean up.
The Mr and I had date night.
Low key date night that is. we went and seen Little Women at nearby West T Hall.
As supporters, we try to frequent/support locally.
We weren't allowed to take photos during the play, but trust me, the Kids were Amazing!
Home late only to catch UK playing B'ball...the Mr got a bit aggravated and turned off the game😔I know there's high hopes with the new UK coach. We'll see.
