Shewee...Saturday morning Early:Thirty wake up!
3 events today...THREE! Starting with doing photography for Girls on the Run Central Ky chapter,
Around 750++ little girlie's in various school programs along with their family members.
There were encouragement signs such as this all along the 5K course.
Next up was a new Sugar Plum race nearby in Versailles...which meant a small window between the 2 races. I headed to a McDonald's to eat a late breakfastand worked on my weekly planning while there. My good deed for the day=sitting across from me a Grandpa with his grandson was waiting on their food to get delivered...the boy thought he was getting the new craze Grinch meal, well they're 12$. You could tell he was a little bit disappointed, but didn't say too much. I eased dropped their convo and you could tell the boy only had Grandpa as a male figure. I finished what I was working on, emptied my tray, and as I was leaving ask the cashier to deliver a Grinch meal to the boy with a Merry Christmas message, Hopefully it made his day, it sure made mine! So onto Sugar Plum I went...I was getting a little tired of being chilly even with layers on [plus kinda tired]. 130+ signed up which is a great turnout for an inaugural event. The Kid and her friends ran so it was nice to spend some time with them along with several other of my runner kids. Luckily they all finished early enough I could get back home in time to have all the tabs running loading 2 race photos going...While waiting I managed to eat a small bite and get warmer clothes on and meet up with fellow Kiwanian's for the parade.
He's like an Honorary member so of course very needed to help out, LOLWe are double & triple bundled up, LOL.
#teamCline always!
