My Good Morning from Plainfield!

Regardless of where I'm at, this is The Most AMAZING sight!

Going to try a get a Blue ribbon to present to my local DPD Chief next City Counsil meeting.

After the race and once I finished talking to some folks I went back to the hotel to freshen up, eat 👎 hotel 👎 breakfast, I text the Mr to let him know I was heading home sweet home!

Traffic was Horrible!

Miles and Miles of Road construction in both Indiana & Kentucky hindered my travel time getting home. I did stop to stretch and use the restroom...

My favorite rest stop had this hanging up,

Loved this mural painted on the Visitor Center wall.

It took about 3-40 minutes longer to get home [stupid road construction] but finally, Home Sweet Home to my Mr, and all the PurrKids. Unloaded to car, Kissed the Mr, changed clothes and relaxed.

After standing working the BYB expo, then walk/running this morning, I did use my foot massager a few cycles...felt like Heaven! A small bite for dinner, and little TV with Mr and relax more!

All of a sudden...POOF! the entire house went DARK...

Mr then received this message on his phone...We didn't hear anything outside happening but once we were, this is what we seen...

Apparently the transformer was shot and finally went KaPut!

We were the only ones on our block affected 😒...

Shew!! What an Adventurous day...re-set clocks, re-boot TV's, then went to bed.

Another busy week coming up and of course Happy Homemaker Monday tomorrow.

Sometimes it's surreal knowing you're getting ready to cross the same finish line for the 3rd year in a row as an Ambassador !

Just a Thursday

ShewEE, I sure didn't want to get up this morning...🤣 !

The body is asking me WTHeck are you doing ! Don't you realize your 70+ !!

Regardless, I got up, had morning coffee with the Mr, then headed to Waffle Stop. 

My Great Day made even Better when my Namealike Ruby Lynn came to see me giving Big HUGE HUGS the minute she came in the door ! Her G'parents said they were going to take her to breakfast last Saturday and she said NO, it had to be on Thursday and go to Waffle Stop all because she wanted to see her G'ma Ruby aka Me! Ruby is so amazing, polite and intelligent for 9yr old. I can't wait to get to know her more as she goes up. AND...she told me her babysitter goes to my church and asked her parents if they could go sometime...I can't wait for that to happen.

Kiwanis today was Friends & Family night. We started doing them this year and they are such a blessing to be able to mingle with members family...

We also had our ''new'' board members installed by our Local Kiwanis Lt Governor

Another Late:Thirty evening and I'm ready to go home...we already ate dessert at F&F night so relaxing for a while, watch a show then Hello Bed!!

Tomorrow is a day with the G'kid, going to new clothing store and we have Grand Opening of 5 Below store.

Wonder Wednesday + W.O.W.

Wonder + WOW is right! Dinner prepping at 6am this morning...

Meat with seasonings onions & peppers on top, then in cooking bags potato,

and carrots...

Low & Slow for the next 5-6 hours....

Mr wondered what I was doing, he caught me in action...

A bit of touch up...but, there's spindles to re-do that Mr painted [sigh]...he paints much dryer than I do, I'm not one for a second coat unless it's a different color...

Once that was done I rested a bit then worked on the front side yard flower bed. 

I wondered if BettyBlue wagon with her new tires could handle to load and she was loaded down...she did Wonderful BTW😉

Transplanted Hosta's - making a rock planter with what I have on hand... 

It took 4 loads but this part is done...next up -->as in hopefully next week<-- I want to add mulch then use up more of my 'prettier' flat rocks as accent/steps and to use more of them up.

The house smelled Oh...So...Good!!

Dinner was delicious even if I say so myself.

Wiped my plate clean!!

Unfortunately Mr had his eyes closed...UGH!!

Still a handsome fella...

Male chorus sang to us before services...

I'm grateful to be able to attend Wednesday evenings as I've been either running or working a race during Sundays this month...

Late:Thirty and time to wrap things up...individual store bought pie, and episode of Criminal minds then off to bed, work day tomorrow!

Another Day of 120 clean up!!

Break from painting to attend my Auxiliary Ways & Means meeting....Yes I went as I was, Everyone was warned🤣

While I was out my Auto Team called and said my tires were ready...164$ later new Tubes & Tires--Geesh!

Back to 120 porch paint project...

Thank Goodness I have leftovers for dinner...

What has been accomplished is noted in RED...

➢Get the yards mowed as in PLURAL!! -- Ready for fall/winter...still waiting on Mother Nature to figure out what she's doing.

➢Work on Flowers--DONE  ✔ [only to add more to the mix..sigh]

➢Walk/Run Daily-- Started last week with a couple of mornings & will now doing earlier wake-ups for training schedule. 

➢OFFICE ! it needs a good cleaning & organized-- 😕 things need some reorganizing, I can't seem to figure out a good ''flow'' 😕

➢Laundry-- Never ending these days !!

➢Update Race List-- YES! 😉 2027 race planning/and have signed up for a couple more along with getting hotel reservations made in advance [yes the 'ol CC is taking a hit !]

➢Meals at home plan-- Yes  ✔Hope to stay on tract. I finally broke my 'plateau' & down 1/2 pound
