This kitten pic is what the GrandCat Garcia looked like after he was cleaned up and had been in the daughter's [aka the Kid] family for a week or so. The SIL found him at work in a car engine he was working on. One thing I want to bring up is the SIL is allergic to cats, BUT... he called the Kid and told her to hurry and come to his work. When she got there, he said, 'If we're keeping it [not sure what sex] it's name is Garcia'. 

That was 13 yrs ago....Early last fall he had issues with his eye,

Sadly, he started having seizures a few weeks ago and they had steadily gotten worse. The kids talked it over and consulted with the Vet for options, and opinion. Unfortunately, the seizures were neurological and he would not recover without being constantly under lots of pain meds and anti-seizure meds and That isn't the quality of life they wanted for him.

I'm sad for the loss of a really great GrandCat, but sadder I can't take the burden of the Kid's & SIL's broken hearts.
