Kiwanis Meeting + Blog 365

No Working, No Projects today....felt somewhat odd😕
Instead, I managed to get the morning routine done and head out for Kiwanis meeting.
Todays speaker[s] were the 4H kids that were selected to go and represent Kentucky for the 2024 Alaska Summit

The kids were so ready to do their presentation...spoke with concise words, explain in detail what each role they were doing, none of them were fidgety, didn't say  'Ummm', We were so impressed! So much so that we started a 'text thread' voting during the meeting how much we would sponsor them. BTW we gave them 1000$.

After the meeting I went over to Gal Pal Natalie' for some MahJongg!!
YES PLEASE!!
We're quite the motley Crew 🤣
[L-R] Moi, Laura, Anita, Mac, Natalie & our Looong Lost Gal Pal Kendra!
[sadly,😢 we were missing our Ashley]

That's it for another day in my World!

What the Furnace is going on + Kiwanis + Blog 365

After Bible Study last night and while watching TV I noticed the furnace kept turning on?? Every 2-3 minutes it would run?? Mr went down and checked it then called our 'guy' at Custom Heating & Air... Monty has been a God Send! He called back and told Mr how to re-set the furnace but came this morning to do a 👀Look See👀 Once over. Everything seems to be fine now. And hopefully it stays that way with some of the predicted below freezing temps headed our way.

Off to Kiwanis meeting at our new meeting place Bricks & Brews...

Brought Mr as a guest ↝
Todays speaker was Brent Blevins. He heads up our health dept.
He talk to us about what they are doing regarding making the public aware of the addiction abuse going on in the community, the increase of Homeless numbers within the city & county, and also talked about vaccines stressing the importance of them but of course it's personnel choices.

**********
Low key for the rest of the afternoon, I'm going to a 'happy hour' get together [Mr didn't go] to see my Oregan friend before she heads back home, LOL we're already planning her trip back...
