someone we know...[I know--that was bad]

Seen the 'Ball' drop in Dublin...[around 7pm here] headed home so I could see New York City televised ball dropping, text the family, wish my daughter & SIL Happy Anniversary [1-1] then will try and sleep. Big Race in tomorrow afternoon...

2023 is Almost a Wrap !

Wishing everyone a Safe holiday and Fabulous 2024...

Church with Dr. Briscoe was as always on point! And even better because the hub's went with me today...

What a Great reminder 'The Lord Bless You and Keep You'

A surprise happened today at church as well...

This plaque was totally unexpected, but, oh so appreciated...both of us helped with the planning for Dr. Briscoe's 40 yr. pastoral anniversary. We are Truly honored and beyond blessed to be not just Members but Family of 1st Baptist.

We came home and had leftover CB for light lunch, we ''sync'' 2024 calendars with each other, the hub's is currently napping. I signed up for another race [a post for later] a couple days ago so called and made hotel reservation for the night before...I'll be headed further north for yet another few days [Labor Day weekend] and another race event... Lots to post about upcoming races and training. 

We're going to a New Year Potluck get together in a few hours [hence hub's napping], the Gal Pal's are going to play a few rounds of MahJongg, and the guys will watch movies and sports.....

HUGE THANK YOU's to everyone that have read &/or commented in my own little blogger space. I will be better with commenting after reading everyone's in the coming year. HUGE THANKS to Sandra for posting the Blog 365 challenge and Happy Homemaker Monday's and hopefully she will carry these on into 2024.

My LAST race event for 2023...Cold, Misty Rain, Brisk Breeze, and 65 Brave Die Hard runners showed up to compete.

John Bodner is Apex Promoz...we're trying hard to get Danville back to being a more active community. It's challenging and we've had some push back, but we push back too.

My guy came out to help since he's not working for a while....

I had a fun time with these three....

The hub's and I determined it was most likely kids.... because I had some cash bills laying under my chapstick, and an expensive pair of sunglasses in the holder.

Blog 365 [almost] ~ [another] Office Project

 

Perfect way to start the Day...

Taking the day to figure out What I'm going to do about the office of Mine

#1 it needs a GOOD cleaning, #2 it needs a bit more organizing, 

#3 it will be getting Re-Vamped next year, Shelves from my daughter, I'll be moving shoe stand into the closet [after I purge it of course], also found a 'free' stand along the road for my printer so will work on it and add it between the shelves.

Blog 365 [almost] ~ The Ark Encounter, Christmas Light stroll

 

My Hiking Gal Pal Karrell does so many 'little' day trips and I've been trying my best to schedule something with her. Via social media she had posted about doing at the very least a monthly jaunt to

??somewhere?? or ??anywhere?? and that whoever wanted to go we would try and work out schedules. SO! We were able to talk about going to see the Christmas lights at the Ark. She posted it on social media and tagged me so my friends could also see what was up.... there ended up being 7 of us that were able to meet-up and go...

We didn't go through the Ark this trip - saving that for another day adventure,
